Favorable Weather Supports Planting

Planting progress continued at a rapid pace in much of the Midwestern and Plains states as the number of days suitable for field work remained favorable. Sixty-seven percent of the corn crop is planted, up from 51 percent last week and 11 points over the five-year average of 56 percent.
